  2. GERMANY + WORLD CUP PENALTY SHOOT-OUTS
↳When it comes to keeping one’s nerves and beating the opposition goalkeeper from the spot, the Germans have always proved to be the best. They have won all the World Cup shootouts they played — France (82), Mexico (86), England(90) and Argentina (06) — having scored 17 in 18 attempts. Their only miss shot was from Uli Stielike in 1982.

To celebrate Germany’s win against Algeria, here’s a bonus gif.

I recorded an album when I was younger, from about 15 to 19. (…) I quit after about four or five years of recording and said, “This is not me.” But I also said that, if I was ever going to do music again, I would do country music. So, for [Nashville] to come along, and to get both of the things I love combined in one show, it’s a dream come true, really. I don’t mean that in a cliche way. - Hayden Panettiere   I would actually say it’s a dream come true, for me too, as an actor, to have the opportunity to stretch my muscles in this way. I have sung my whole life, but not professionally, at all. So, as an actor, to be able to work with the best writer and the best music producer, that’s also a dream come true.  - Connie Britton

  9. “The Grown Ups” [3.12] did a nice job of showing how various characters reacted to the news in their own way. Walter Cronkite’s announcement of JFK’s death is probably the definitive anchor moment of the assassination, so it was good to see Mad Men…go to that footage…”
